First of all, sorry for all of the iPhone pics.  Even though I took my camera, the pictures didn’t come out very well.  I’m still working on my indoor photography….

When Erica from the B Firm PR invited me to an event for celebrity stylist Shun Melson’s new line, I immediately said yes.  I initially got the day and location wrong.  I showed up to an empty restaurant where the servers just looked at me when I tried to explain why I was there….  However, when I finally got the details right, it turned out to be a great event!

Shun has been styling celebrities for many years, but jumped at the chance to design her own line of shirts.  Her shirts all have fun sayings and are all about telling it like it is.  Being a total shoe girl, I love the “The only BS I need is bags and shoes) here.  I also totally agree with the “A man isn’t a financial plan”!  I love seeing people go out and chase their dreams (especially when they have already been successful in one field and don’t just rest on their laurels) and I hope this line is successful!  See more of her designs here.

Also, Nordstrom’s semi-annual sale started yesterday.  I’m trying to be good since I have a big trip next month, but I’ve got my eyes on a few things below.  Several of the items are under $100!  Have you picked up anything from the sale yet?
