I hope you are had a great weekend!  I’m sorry for the lack of posts last week.  Last week got a little crazy and I didn’t plan ahead.  Am I think only one whose last week was a little crazy?  It seems like we were trying to squeeze a full week into a shorter work week.  This past weekend could not have come quickly enough!  Fingers crossed things slow down a bit this week.

It’s funny since summer normally means a lot of of color for me (here, here, here).  Something changed this summer though as I’m finding myself more attracted to simple colors, especially black and white.  I recently wore this black and white maxi dress outfit to a family event (on Insta here), and love how easily it can be dressed up or down with flats (once I get it hemmed…).  I’m all about lowering the cost per wear of everything in my closet which is why this black and white maxi dress is so perfect.  Maxi dresses are always so versatile and a great piece to get a lot of mileage out of!  What pieces are you loving for summer?
