Happy Friday (or should I say TGIF!)!  Looking back at these pictures from the Vera Bradley launch party, it seems like it was weeks ago, not just last weekend.  I am more than ready to relax this weekend, maybe binge on Making a Murder, and catch up with a few friends.  This is the first time that I’ve had MLK Day off, and it can’t come at a better time.  What are you guys up to this weekend?

Let’s be real, before last weekend, Vera Bradley was not a brand that was on my radar.  I don’t know if you remember those floral quilted tote and weekend bags that every seemed to have in middle/high school (at least if you grew in the South!), but that is the first thing that came to mind when my blogger friend, Sabrina, invited me to the Vera Bradley fragrance launch party.  However, I learned that they have introduced some very clean, sleek leather bags and Blaire was carrying a leopard one that I loved, but can’t find online…

First of all, Sabrina knows how to throw a fun launch party.  I don’t think I’ve every seen someone who can make all of those Pinterest ideas come to life!  And she introduced me to Celebrity which is going to become one of my new party games (after Cards Against Humanity).

But most of all, I was surprised by how much I really liked the fragrances.  I’m a sucker for beautiful packaging and love candles so right away I knew that the candles would find a place in my house.  There are four scents in the collection, Vanilla Sea Salt, Appleberry Champagne, Cotton Flower, and my favorite, Macroon Rose (I mean, no real surprise there…).  The Macroon Rose is a beautiful floral scent that isn’t over-powering or cloying.  In addition to the candles, the collection also includes shower gels, lotions, and perfumes.  You can check out the entire collection here and let me know what your favorite scent it.
