I hope you had a great weekend!  It was absolutely beautiful here this weekend so I tried to be outside as much as possible on Saturday.  I’m excited because this is a short week!  My mom and I are doing a quick girls trip up to Asheville and staying at Village Hotel on Biltmore Estate for a long weekend starting Thursday.  This will be my first trip to Asheville and to Biltmore.  If you have any suggestions of things to do please let me know!

As I’m getting more used to dressing up more for work, I’m finding myself reaching for go-to combinations.  All black, black and camel, a white top with anything.  There is something so easy about a combination that you know is going to work, especially when rushing around in the morning.  This isn’t the first time I’ve worn this color combo on the blog (example here), and I highly doubt it will be the last!

This Banana Republic wrap front top is so effortlessly easy and pairs with work pants or jeans.  It also comes in a black and white stripe.  If you get it, I highly recommend reinforcing the eye closure at the top or using a safety pin.  The eye broke the first time I wore this top leading to a little wardrobe malfunction….  Thankfully, I was able to quickly race back to my car and find a safety pin!
