I hope you had a great weekend!  Somehow a small dinner with friends on Friday to celebrate my birthday ended up in a 3am breakfast at Waffle House.  Let’s just say I definitely laid low for the rest of the weekend.  I’m always thankful for another year, but I can’t recover like I used to!  I’m looking forward to this week as I have an old friend in town today, which is a great way to start the week.

I wore this outfit to work last week.  I really like Loft pants.  The fit and price (especially on sale) are great.  These Loft Julie fit olive pants seemed risky when I bought them, but they are a nice way to break up the black and camel pants rut that is easy to fall into.  I paired them with my favorite black sweater (the best deal if you get it on sale) and a black blazer for an easy olive pants outfit.   This olive color is sold out, but Loft has two new colors this season.   I haven’t tried them with any other colors, but could see them with white and maybe a coral in the spring.
