I hope you guys had a great weekend!  I spent most of the weekend catching up on errands, but I had some time to relax by the pool and read my book.  In my opinion, that is the perfect way to end the weekend!  It also helped me put my weekend phone fiasco behind me.  I thought my phone died this weekend, but it turned out that the battery died!  I don’t know how since I could have sworn that I just charged it.  Anyway, I’m not complaining since my phone is working again after a quick charge!

When I saw this red lace dress at Target, I knew that it would be perfect for so many occasions.  And I couldn’t beat the price at $35!  I may not have any events on the calendar right now, but I always buy fancy dresses when I see them.  I can never find what I’m looking for when I wait to the last minute.   Do you guys feel the same way?

Even though this Target red lace dress is a fancier piece, I made it a little more casual by adding a jean jacket.  It would also look great as a skirt with a black t-shirt over it.  I love finding new creative ways to wear items.   That way I won’t have to wait until something comes up on my calendar!
