I hope you had a great weekend!  Did you get up early to watch the royal wedding?  I couldn’t sleep so I watched it live.  I love weddings and I loved every minute of this!  Meghan looked amazing (in both dresses) and it was so beautiful to see how in love they are.  I wish them many years of happiness.

Now it is back to work and getting ready for Memorial Day weekend.  How is it that time already?!

I’ve mentioned here before how much I love being able to wear an outfit or an item multiple ways.  When I first saw this Rebecca Taylor star print top on sale, I knew I had to have it. I’ve wanted it for so long, so I felt like it was meant to be when I found it on sale in my size.  However, I still had to be able to justify spending this much on top, but figuring out a few ways to wear it.  It is definitely made for going out, but once I got it home and tried it on with a blazer for work, I knew it was a keeper!

For work, this top would look great with jeans or a skirt and blazer.  It does need a nude cami underneath since it is a little sheer.  After looking polished for work, this day to nigh top transitions easily to drinks or dinner by losing the blazer and swapping out the earrings.  I always carry this leopard clutch inside my bag so I can easily find my wallet and phone, but it also make an easy transition to dinner.
