When the team at Talbots reached out to me to see if I wanted to style a piece from the O, The Oprah Magazine Collection for Talbots, I jumped at the chance.  Apart from being a huge Oprah fan, I also love that 30% of the proceeds from the collection go to Dress for Success.  I know how important the right outfit can be in making me feel confident at work, so I love supporting organization that believes the same.  Last year, Talbots helped 20,000 women through this initiative.  for Success is an organization that helps “empower women to achieve economic independence by providing support, professional attire, and the development tools necessary to help women thrive in work and in life.”

I choose this gorgeous floral print scarf full of vibrant colors.  Even though I don’t wear a lot of scarves, I immediately knew that this scarf would be a bright pop of color as a belt, on a handbag, or more traditionally around my neck.  I’ve paired it with this all black business casual outfit for a fun pop color at work and already plan to wear it as a belt with my white jeans once it gets warmer!

If you are wondering how you can get involved, simply take those business clothes that you haven’t worn in a while to any Talbots location from Thursday, March 2 to Sunday, March 5 and they will donate them to Dress for Success.  It is actually a great way to get a head start on some of your spring cleaning!
