I hope your week is going well! I’ve decided to kick off a new series on the blog, 1 piece – several ways. People are always asking me how I have enough clothes to shoot so many new outfits for the blog. I always laugh because I don’t! I am all about getting the most wear out of the items in my closet and love mixing it up. Don’t get me wrong, I love to shop and wish I had a limitless budget, but until I do, I will be sharing some of the ways I mix it up here starting with how to wear a dress multiple ways.
When I picked up this leopard print dress last year, I wasn’t sure how much wear I would get out of it. I love leopard, but a leopard print dress was a little outside of my comfort zone. However, this dress has turned out to be surprisingly versatile. This dress has gone from a casual lunch with friends to a big meeting at work (I work in a more creative industry) with just changing a few pieces. I’ve worn it as a dress, top, and skirt and could see mixing up the pieces I’ve paired with it (adding tights and a jean jacket or fur vest with the dress now that it is getting colder). To make it a top, I’ve paired it with one of my favorite skirts and trusty denim jacket.
Which is your favorite? What are some of the ways you like to mix up pieces in your closet?

I love posts like these! It always encourages me to be more creative and get the most use out of what I already own instead of shopping for more. I love how you layered a skirt over the dress and then a chambray shirt to make it look completely different.
