I hope you had a great weekend!  Mine was a mix of trying to enjoy as much of this gorgeous weather as possible and family time as we celebrated my aunt’s birthday.  She has had some health problems over the past few years so it was great to come together and celebrate her.

As the weather starts to warm up, I find myself reaching for easy layers that won’t make me too warm.  I’ve worn this Zara black sleeveless jacket before on the blog (here, here), and it is a perfect layering piece.  Even though it is warm outside and I may not need a full jacket, the long sleeves on my stripe t-shirt are essential since I’m always cold in my office!  That is why this black sleeveless blazer is perfect.  I know I mix stripes and leopard print a lot.  It has gotten to the point where I don’t even consider it pattern mixing since I’m definitely of the “leopard is a neutral” camp.  It doesn’t help that I want to wear these leopard heels everyday.  They are so comfortable!  I’m almost scared that I’m going to wear them out so on the look out for another pair that is less expensive that I can rotate in to give these a break.  Is that weird?  Anyway, I think I’m starting to ramble so thanks for reading and have a great day!
