Top: Zara, sold out, love this striped top and this ruffled one / Jeans: Paige, similar / Clutch: Tuckernuck (under $35!) / Shoes: Joie, similar / Earrings: J.Crew, sold out in red, love these red ones!
I hope you had a great weekend! Thank you for all of the kind comments on last Monday’s post! It is a little ironic that I wrote a post about cutting myself some slack and then didn’t post for the rest of the week, lol. Let’s just say that work was crazy last week. We had a major deadline on my project, which thankfully we hit. I’ve have been laying low for most of the weekend to recover. Now back to the fashion…
I love a piece that can be worn multiple ways. However, sometimes I just can’t figure out which way looks best. Do you have any of those pieces? If you’ve been reading my blog for any period of time, you might know I love stripes. I just can’t get enough. When I saw this top at Zara, I knew I had to have it. The contrasting black ribbon was a key selling point for me. Even though I love the ribbon, I can’t figure out if it looks better tied in the front or the back.
Can I get your opinion? Do you prefer the top tied in the front or in the back? I’ve worn it both ways to dinner and out with friends. My friends and I were split, and I would love to get your opinion.
Thanks for reading and have a great day!

This top is the cutest and I prefer it tied to the back.

Thanks Rachelle! I think you guys are all aligned here on tying it in the back.

I’m probably not much help because I love the tie both ways too! I guess it depends on your mood? If you want to be clean and more classic, then tie in the back. But to keep it fun, put the tie in the front. I hope work is less hectic this week!

That is probably why I’ve had so much trouble deciding! I’m glad I’m not the only one. The week is definitely better. Thanks Rach!

I really like it tied in the back! The front is cute, but the fabric I think lays a little better the other way.

Thanks Alissa! I think that is probably my probably with tying it in the front. It seems to puff up a little bit.

I think I like it best in the back though it is cute both ways. Fun top!

Thanks Amy Ann! I think tying in the back is the clear winner. Good to know for next time I wear it!

I think sometimes we all just need a little break from the blog and that is okay!
I am liking the top tied in the back, but either way it’s cute, and it’s nice to have options!
