I hope you had a great weekend and stayed safe during this wild weather.  We are expecting the remnants of the storm to pass through Atlanta today and tomorrow.  I know it will be nothing like what everyone in Florida experienced, but please stay safe!

I wore this black off the shoulder top outfit this past weekend to dinner with a high school friend in town from D.C. I hadn’t seen her in almost a year, but we picked up right where we left off.  There is something about hanging out with friends who have known you forever.  The saying is true, “You can always make friends, but you can’t make old friends.”

Even though I wore this for dinner with a friend, it would also look great for date night!  When I first saw this black off the shoulder top at J. Crew, I knew that it would become a wardrobe staple.  They have been killing it recently!  I may have gone a little overboard and when I bought it in 3 colors (black, white, stripes), but it is such an easy top for going out.   The fabric is really heavy with nice stretch and great quality.  The best part is that it is $25!
