I hope everyone had a great weekend!  I had a chance to catch up with a friend I hadn’t seen in a while over dinner which was wonderful.  My friend is very stylish, so I figured it was the perfect time to break out one of my favorite pairs of shoes.  Do you every start with the shoes and then work upwards when building an outfit?  I do it more often that I would like admit, lol!  These pumps are so stylish, but understated, which I love.  Also, how cute are the little hearts that help hold the shape?!

I also broke out my new favorite jeans on Saturday night that I picked up during the Saks Friends and Family sale.  They are my first pair of black jeans and so flattering!  I  imagine they will be like an old friend very soon, always there and always comfortable, even though you may not see each other every day or week.
