I hope everyone’s week is going well! Since starting this blog, I’ve definitely been more creative in trying to find new ways to wear the clothes in my closet. Going out and buying new clothes to photograph every weekend for the blog was never in the cards (credit or otherwise)….
I love this dress, which I’ve worn by itself (here) and layered over turtlenecks in winter. However, I wanted to find more ways to wear it. I never have enough tops in my closet (I don’t know why I rarely buy them…), so I decided to turn this dress into a top and pair it with one of my trusty white skirts. Thankfully, the skirt is thick enough so that the pattern of the dress didn’t show through and it was surprisingly comfortable to wear skirt a skirt over the dress. I will have to see how many other dresses in my closest I can turn into tops….
Have you guys styled a skirt over a dress before?
Have a great day!

I’m sad that those cut out heels aren’t available or else I would’ve purchased them up right now. The color accents that you chose for this black and white outfit are spot-on.
