TGIF!! I apologize for being so bad this week about responding to comments. I totally jinxed myself at work by saying things weren’t that busy before I went away this past weekend, but look forward to catching up over the weekend!
Do you have those items in your closet that you like but you don’t love? This dress is one of them for me. I last wore it on the blog here. I love the print and it has pockets, but I don’t think the top of the dress fits that well so I don’t wear it as much as I should. I don’t know why it didn’t occur to me earlier to just toss a nice top over it and convert it into a skirt, but I’m so happy I finally did! I love it as a skirt!
Do you guys ever wear your dresses as skirts?
Have a great weekend!

Don’t you love those “eureka” moments? I want to try this with a sweater over a dress and boots. I’m just waiting for the weather to get a bit cooler. That is a great print and you did an excellent job with the top. I would never know it was a dress!

Again, it’s about remixing and recycling, which you do so well. The print on the dress is so pretty and colorful and the bag goes great with it. Great way to keep the dress alive! Have a great weekend! :-)

So innovative! Why don’t I ever think of things like this? This converts perfectly to a skirt! I also love when you can convert a dress into a top too. So need to try this! Congrats on your feature! Love the floral and stripes combo :)

I wear my maxi dresses as skirts sometimes. Your post made me think that I have a midi dress that does not fit well on top that I should turn into a skirt! Love how you styled yours! You look stunning!
