When I bought this leopard jacket last year, I didn’t realize it would become a staple in my closet. You’ve seen it before, (last time here) and to be fair I normally wear it with jeans. However, one of my resolutions was to shop my closet more. It’s been so hard not to open all of the sale emails I’ve been getting, but I’m determined not to buy too much until spring (and then my wish list is huge…). Since I shockingly don’t have a plain black dress that I love, I created my own with this black top and skirt. While I think a dress might have been better, I’m pretty happy with the outcome (and even happier with the money I didn’t spend!)
Do you guys have any tips that make shopping your closet easier?

Love the leopard with the blue! I have a leopard trench coat that is literally 8 years old. One of my oldest and most worn pieces. I swear leopard is a neutral. ;)

I love all of the layering going on here, and I think that a black dress would not have been as stylish as what you have put together. You look great Nicole!

Great job on shopping your closet! I am trying to do the same. I have a lot of black dresses but not the perfect LBD that can transform from day to night.
