I picked up this skirt during the last Piperlime sale and can’t rave about it enough (especially as it is under $30 right now).  I was a little nervous about the midi trend as I’m pretty short (5’2 and hence my collection of heels). However, I’ve found a few ways to make it work for me.  I had the skirt hemmed to hit right below the knee (my definition of a midi skirt), and am wearing nude heels to elongate my (short) legs.  I also kept my look monochromatic on top.   By doing these three things, I found that the midi skirt is actually quite flattering and I might pick up a few more (especially if I find them under $30!).
