Flying into Cozumel!
Amazing towel art every day
View from breakfast
Our cabanas every day
The view behind the shot. My friends was so sunburned she wore a robe to beach one day.
I’m a sucker for sunsets

Happy Cinco de Mayo! I can’t believe we are already into May. Where is the year going? I love to travel but realized that I don’t often share details of my trips with you guys. I figured today would be the perfect time to start since I just came back from Mexico (and it is Cinco de Mayo!). Last Thursday, I went to Cozumel, Mexico for a few days to celebrate my friend’s birthday. We stayed at the Presidente Intercontinental which was amazing! The resort was beautiful, the service was gracious, and the food was delicious. If you are a big ocean swimmer, it might not be for you as the beach area is pretty small. Most people were there for Scuba. It was just perfect for us though!
I normally hate to just stay on the resort. We had great plans to explore Cozumel, but we were all so worn down by the time we got there that all we wanted to do was read on the beach and drink margaritas. I finished All the Light We Cannot See (highly recommend!) and Orphan Train (pretty good).
I’m so glad to have a great group of girlfriends that I can travel with and can’t wait to take another trip with them!
After this trip, I’m good on Mexican food and margaritas. Are you doing anything fun for Cinco de Mayo today?

This trip looks so amazing and that suit looks incredible on you! I love the straps in the back. You should definitely share your trips more often.

Looks amazing!!! I loved “All the Light We Cannot See.” I started it a few months ago, put it down, then picked it up again while on vacation and couldn’t put it down. It was incredibly detailed. I read somewhere that the author researched for a long time. I can why!

Loving the new site design! So clean and crisp! Your mini getaway to Mexico looks and sounds like so much fun! That sunset is beautiful and cabanas on the beach would be a dream come true!
