We had a little bit of cooler weather this week, basically a break from the scorching hot weather we’ve been having this summer, and it has been amazing!  Are you ready for the weekend?  I’m excited to meet up with a few fellow bloggers on Sunday for a fall fashion (!!) preview at a local boutique.  Even though I’m not ready for summer to end, I love fall fashion.  Other than that, you will probably find me by the pool trying to soak up enjoy as much pool time as possible before the end of summer.

This “skirt” (dress worn as a skirt) has become one of my go-to outfits all year long.  I bought this dress last year (or the year before??) but almost never wore it because I hate the top of the dress.  The top is leather and looked great on the hanger, but not on me….  I don’t know what made me throw a black shirt or sweater over the top the first time, but thankfully I did!  I really think I was about to give this dress away when I discovered how much I love it as a skirt.  Anyway, this “skirt” is a perfect soft pink that can be worn year round.  When it gets cooler, I will pair this with a black sweater, tights, and booties.
