Can you believe it is September already??  Where is the year going?

Whenever I travel, I like to buy a piece of clothing that reminds me of that trip.  I always tell myself I have to check out the local fashion scene to fully understand a new city and maybe it is an excuse to shop (#shoppingaddict), but these pieces always end up being some of my favorite items in my closet even if I don’t wear them all of time.  I picked up this black Maje dress while traveling in France this summer.  Every time I put it on, I think of days spent exploring the South of France with one of my good friends, eating really good food, drinking great wine, and having great conversations.  Basically the perfect trip!  I can’t help but smile which is always the best way to start the day!
