Merry Christmas! I hope you are having a great holiday season! I always love this time of year, which for me officially kicks off when I hear Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas”. I wish I could claim this tree and the beautiful decorations, but I took this picture at my parents’ house where I am spending Christmas. I didn’t even buy a wreath for my own place…. #decoratingfailure
One of my favorite parts of the holiday season is catching up with friends, including those that I haven’t seen in a while. It is generally one of the upsides of all of those holiday parties. Every year, I say I’m going be better about keeping in touch and so many times I let myself get away with the excuse of getting busy. I refuse to let that happen over the next year. I’ve shared many laughs and tears with my friends and family this year and I’m so happy and thankful them in my life. The least I can do is find more time to have fun with them!
Even though the beginning of the holiday period is really busy, the slowdown that comes between Christmas and NYE is always a great time to reflect on the past year and goals for the new year (and catch up on a little bit of sleep!). I will be sharing some of the things that I’ve been very thankful for and what I want to accomplish in 2016 over the next few weeks and can’t wait to hear about your goals as well.
Thanks for reading and for all of your support! It means so much to me and I look forward to more great things next year. Have a Merry Christmas and a great weekend!!

Me too – I can be bad about keeping up with others, but it makes for a great New Year’s resolution each year :) And it helps my with cool friends have blogs that I can just read to stay in touch! Hope you had a great Christmas!
