I hope you guys had a great weekend!
I’m a huge fan of remixing my wardrobe as long time readers of this blog may know. I’m constantly asked, “How do you afford so many clothes?!”. I always let people know that while my closet is overflowing, I’m always trying to find new ways to wear what is currently in my closet before going out to buy new pieces. I’m all about lowering my cost per wear (how much I paid for an item divided by how many times I’ve worn it). That is why I love matching sets so much. They are like several outfits for the price of two pieces!
I last wore this Zara gray skirt and top set on the blog here when it was slightly warmer out. I wasn’t about to let the colder temps prevent me from wearing again so I layered it over my Banana Republic no-iron oxford shirt to create a winter work outfit. Looking back at how I last wore it makes me realize it might be time for another Bauble Bar order, lol!
I’m looking forward to breaking up the pieces to create a couple more outfits. I’ve already thought of a few ideas for the skirt, but I’m sure I will think of a couple of different ways to wear the top also.
Thanks for reading and have a great day!
My set is sold out, but I’ve linked a few of my favorite gray pieces below.

Yes, girl, it’s all about cost per wear! Mixing and matching and getting creative, and these two pieces are very versatile, for sure. But, can we please talk about your shoes?! Love!

Ah, the pop of blue on those shoes is so fun and perfect with this outfit. I can’t wait to see how you remix the separates into different outfits!
