I hope you had a great weekend!  I spent this past weekend at my business school reunion and came back so inspired and ready to hit the ground running this week.  I don’t know about you guys, but I always find it so exciting to be surrounded by people that are doing exciting things they are passionate about.  It is also one of my favorite things about connecting with other bloggers.

I know I’ve praised this Banana Republic green maxi dress before, but it really is perfect to dress up or down.  I last wore this green maxi dress here with heels in a outfit that is perfect for a spring or summer wedding.  Since I have a lot more casual parties this summer than weddings, I’m sure I will be wearing this maxi dress with jean jacket outfit quite a bit. It is perfect for running errands or grabbing a casual dinner.  A jean jacket is one of my favorite pieces to make fancier pieces like dresses more casual (and keep me warm since I’m always freezing!).  If it is a summer night, you will typically find me in a maxi dress with jean jacket outfit or short dress with a jean jacket.  I mean, if it ain’t broke….
