Happy Friday!! I hope you had a good week. This week was busy with the end of the fiscal year, but I’m taking today off to celebrate my birthday! I’m excited to work out, get a pedicure and grab lunch with my mom.
I started a new job a few months ago which is much more corporate than my last job. Basically I can’t wear my old uniform of ripped jeans, a great blazer, and heels any more. One of the first things I did was pick up a few new pairs of pants. I love my Theory pants, but this girl can’t buy multiple pairs of those at once! After trying on a few pairs (am I the only one who finds pants shopping frustrating??), I finally found this flattering pair at Banana Republic. The camel color is a great alternative to black and can be worn any time of the year. I’ve paired it here with my leopard sweater and heels for a casual work outfit. I’m definitely still working to master the more corporate dress code. Do you guys have any go to corporate work outfits?
Thanks for reading and have a great weekend!

It has been awhile since I dressed corporate style. My job has been pretty lenient about the dress code. However, there are days I do feel like dressing up a bit more, and I love getting my pants Asos! Those BR pants have the perfect fit and cut. I need to check that out!

I love Asos, but I don’t think I have any of their pants. I will have to try a pair out!

I’ve been out of even the business casual environment for a while, and now it’s just casual casual – my uniform is jeans and sweaters. But I think the BR pants fit you great the color will definitely serve you well through the seasons. Hope you have a very happy birthday!

I no longer work in a super corporate dress code environment, but I love my Express dress pants (I have the columnist ankle pant in a few colors – http://www.express.com/clothing/women/columnist-pants/cat/cat1540022) and they have great portofino blouses that can transition from work to weekend!

I will have to check them out Maddy! I haven’t tried Express pants in years, but I used to love them when I wore them.

Banana is my go-to for work pants as well. This combo is so chic with the leopard and pop of red.

Thanks Winnie! It is definitely too cold now, but we had a random warm spell recently. I wish it was still that warm!
