How to Style Metallic Jeans

I hope your week is going well!  Short weeks are always interesting at work and this one is no different.  Let’s just say I’m looking forward to Thursday evening!

Today, I’m sharing another outfit from Cypress and 5th.  Cypress and 5th is a styling service.  After filling out a questionnaire, they will send a box with a certain number of items based on your style and your selected level of service.   There is no commitment.  I know that I’ve mentioned them and their cool founder, Jen, on the blog before.  I met Jen through blogging.  I say this all the time, but meeting amazing women is one of my favorite parts of blogging.

When I first saw this black top at a trunk show, I knew it would become a fall staple.  It is conservative enough to wear to work with a blazer or black pants, yet still cool enough for dinner or drinks.  The sheer layers in the back are my favorite part!  I would normally pair it with my go-to blue jeans or camel pants, but I was totally on board for something different when Jen suggested these silver jeans!  I probably would have been a little stumped at how to style metallic jeans, but they are so versatile!  I can already see them becoming my go-to pants for fall and winter. I’m looking forward to wearing these metallic jeans with chunky black/cream sweater, button downs, and everything in between.  I know that I can fall back on my old favorites a lot, but I love having someone push me a little out of my comfort zone.

Oh, and you may notice that I’m wearing different earrings in one picture.  I didn’t like the jewelry in the first set of pictures, so I had to do a quick change and reshoot.  #bloggerlife
