I hope you had a great weekend! I was in Asheville exploring Biltmore House and the exhibit of costumes from the movie Titanic, which the team there invited me to see. As a huge fan of the movie, it was really cool to see the exhibit and the detail that went into each costume. They were exquisite! If you have a chance to go before the exhibit ends in May, I highly recommend it.
I have a lot of black sweaters, but when I saw this black Ann Taylor button sleeve sweater, I knew that it would be a perfect transitional piece. The white buttons on the arms keep it from being another basic black sweater. I didn’t realize it is similar to a much more expensive version until I saw the $600+ version on Jacey of Damsel in Dior. Since it isn’t it the cards to spend that much on a sweater right now, I think this under $80 version (and often less with the sales at Ann Taylor) is a perfect dupe!
I’ve layered this sweater with a white shirt for work here. The buttons do gap a little on the shoulder. I sized up to stop it since I don’t love showing skin at work. I think it will also look great with jeans on the weekend. Spring in Atlanta can be a little crazy, but I hope I can wear this Ann Taylor button sleeve sweater a few more times before it gets too hot!
Thanks for reading and have a great day!
