What to Wear to a Spring or Summer Wedding

I hope you had a great weekend!  It was absolutely beautiful here.  I had a packed weekend with a friend’s birthday party, wedding shower, and Derby party.  You don’t often have the choice of Cinco de Mayo vs. Derby Day.  Which did you choose or did you do both?

I thought I was past having a lot of weddings, but I have 3 to go to this year.  I’m definitely not complaining, since I love weddings!  The first one was actually a few weekends ago here in Atlanta.  One of my best friends married his partner in a beautiful ceremony that had us crying and laughing.  When I saw this teal dress at Asos, I knew that it would be perfect for his black tie wedding.  It is much more form-fitting than I normally go with, but I loved the color and pepulm hem (and reasonable price!).

It is always stressful to figure out out what to wear to a spring or summer wedding (or any season actually!).  I have a few dresses that I normally rotate between for big events.  It may not be very fashionable to rewear my fancy dresses in this social media era, but if I can hardly remember what I wore to an event, no one else will either!  I would so much rather spend my money on my everyday clothes, or shoes if I’m being honest.

I know this Asos teal peplum hem midi dress is only available in limited sizes (keep checking for sizes to come back in stock!), but I’ve rounded up a other few wedding guest dress options if you are trying to figure out what to wear to a summer wedding or a spring wedding.  Asos is my favorite place to shop for special occasion dresses that don’t break the bank, but I also found great options at other retailers.  Almost everything is under $250.  Just hover over an items and the price will appear.
