I hope you had a great weekend! Mine was filled with a lot of catching up with friends, which is exactly what I needed. On Saturday, I went to an Atlanta United (our MLS soccer team) game, which is always a fun time before dinner at The Watchman. If you live in Atlanta and love seafood, you have to go immediately. It is probably one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta right now! On Sunday, I did a little blog work and got a massage before dinner with friends. It was a perfect weekend!
While I love a statement piece, the majority of my wardrobe is basics that can be worn multiple ways. I’m a firm believer in maximizing the cost per wear of every item in my closet. When I saw this black Banana Republic t-shirt dress, I knew that it would quickly become a staple in my closet. In addition to be being the easiest outfit, it looks just as good with flats on the weekend as it does with heels during the week. I got so many compliments on this black Banana Republic t-shirt dress when I wore it with sandals and straw bag like above. The only downside is that it is dry clean only, which is annoying for a casual dress.

I think the dress is great, and I would totally skip the dry cleaning. For a poly blend I would have no qualms about throwing it in the gentle cycle and air drying. Or using dryel, which hasn’t let me down yet.

I need to make sure I add that restaurant to my list of places to eat in Atlanta. I’m hoping to go there one day! And I love that dress. So flattering! The tie-knot elevates this classic dress!
